Magnolia Man Charged in Vehicle Theft

An investigation by Delaware State Police into a rash of thefts from vehicles in the Magnolia area ended with the arrest of a Magnolia man.  Police say the thefts occurred during overnight hours.  One vehicle was stolen when the victim left their keys in an unlocked vehicle.  The stolen vehicle was located last week in Magnolia and police developed 37 year old Trancy Custis as a person of interest.  Custis was located Friday and determined to be the suspect and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and multiple other offenses.  He is free on a $9500 unsecured bond.
