Magnolia Man Charged after Shooting Neighbors with BB Gun
A Magnolia man has been arrested for shooting his neighbors with a BB gun after a confrontation Thursday evening. Delaware State Police were called to Lambert Drive in Magnolia just after 5:30 where they determined that a group of juveniles were arguing with 26 year old Keith Rawding as they rode their bikes past his home. Rawding shot at the juveniles with a BB gun. The 32 year old father of two of the teens went to Rawding’s home and confronted him and threw rocks – striking Rawding. Rawding fired back – striking the 32 year old in the back and causing minor injury. Both Rawding and the 32 year old man were arrested. Rawding is charged with 2nd degree assault, 3 counts of aggravated menacing and 2 counts of reckless endangering and is free on a $30,000 unsecured bond. The 32 year old man was charged with offensive touching and released on his own recognizance.
