Long-Vacant Home In Ellendale Gutted By Fire

A home that was abandoned some time ago went up in flames in Ellendale early Monday morning.
According to the Ellendale Fire Company, firefighters discovered heavy flames and significant structural collapse when they arrived at the scene in the area of Maple Branch Road and Redden Road.
Bridgeville and Georgetown firefighters also stood by.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
