Long term roadwork begins on Seashore Hwy in Georgetown

Long term roadwork in Georgetown beginning this weekend. Crews will be working to widen and improve a couple right hand turn lanes on Seashore Highway in between Route 113 and Vaughn Road. The work will cause temporary closures of the turn lanes lasting until June. Officials say traffic moving East will eventually be detoured onto Vaughn road to avoid the road work.
