Lincoln Man Sentenced for Assault

A Lincoln man faced 3 years in prison for assaulting a woman who was staying with him and his wife. DOJ officials say 44 year old Toussaint Jones began arguing with the woman but then struck her in the face – causing a fracture. Jones pleaded guilty to 2nd degree assault in August and was sentenced this week. He must also complete the Key substance abuse treatment program, followed by 18 months of probation and Key aftercare.
