Lincoln Man Charged Following Domestic Incident
Delaware State Police say they have arrested and charged 30-year-old Justin R. Ohl of Lincoln following a domestic related assault that took place Friday night.
Troopers say Ohl returned to a residence on Clendaniel Pond Road in Lincoln around 11 p.m. on February 22 and became engaged in a verbal altercation with a female victim. It eventually turned physical with Ohl proceeding to strike the victim multiple times in addition to grabbing her throat, restricting her breathing, according to officials. He also reportedly threatened the victim with a baseball bat and took possession of her car keys to prevent her from leaving the residence.
On Sunday, Ohl was taken into custody at his residence without incident and transported to DSP Troop 7 where he was charged with 2nd degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, strangulation, aggravated menacing, unlawful imprisonment and terroristic threatening. Ohl was arraigned and committed the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown on 25,000 dollars secured bail.
