Lewes Police were called to Beebe Healthcare on Tuesday afternoon for a man urinating in the parking lot. When Lewes Police arrived, they found 35 year old Thomas Yetter passed out in a running vehicle parked near the emergency room entrance. Police woke Yetter who told them he’d dropped his mother at the hospital and he was resting in his vehicle. Police smelled alcohol and noticed signs of impairment – and Yetter failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested and a warrant for a blood draw was obtained. Police learned Yetter had for previous DUI arrests – the last one in July of 2021. He is also on supervised probation. Yetter is charged with a 5th offense DUI and disorderly conduct and is being held at SCI on a $19,500 cash only bail.
