Legislation In the General Assembly Would Allow Home Delivery of Wine
June 8, 2018
A measure that would allow wine to be shipped for home delivery from within or outside of Delaware by a wine producer is halfway through the General Assembly. House Bill 165 states that the shipping must be done through a common carrier with a carrier permit – but limits the amount of wine that a direct shipper can sell to a single household to 3 9-liter cases per year. The bill is now awaiting action in the State Senate.
