Laurel Man Faces Up to 58 Years in Prison for Burglary & Attempted Rape
April 27, 2018
A Laurel man has pleaded guilty to 2nd degree burglary and 2 counts of attempted 3rd degree rape. Officials in the Attorney General’s office say 22 year old Tyrone Jenkins-Heath broke into a home on Penn Street in Laurel last May, planning to steal items – including the victims’ underwear and to force two women living in the house to perform oral sex on him. The victims escaped from the home before Jenkins-Heath entered their room. He faces between 5 and 58 years in prison when he is sentenced in June.
