Laurel Man Arrested on Drug Charges

An investigation into drug possession in Laurel Sunday night led to the arrest of 66 year old Wayne Majors. Delaware State Police were called to the Oasis Travel Plaza for a report of a couple having sex in a parked car. When police arrived and contacted the driver, identified as 66 year old Wayne Majors of Laurel, he threw several items under the car as he got out. Troopers searched the area and found several baggies of suspected heroin and cocaine. He is charged drug offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 2 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
Majors was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $6,200 secured bond.
