Laurel Man Arrested for Liquor Store Burglary

Delaware State Police have arrested a 30-year-old Laurel man for breaking into Lakeshore Wine and Spirits on Sussex Highway in Laurel shortly after 1 a.m. July 13th. Security cameras recorded him. Police say merchandise was stolen from the closed business and the window broken to gain entry. Shawn Jones of Laurel faces multiple charges including Burglary Third Degree, which is a felony. Jones is at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $3,000 secured bond.
