Laurel Man Arrested for Attempted Burglary

A man wanted by Delaware State Police for an attempted burglary at a home on Broad Drive in Laurel has been arrested. Police learned the 43 year old Ronald Hastings of Laurel tried to break into the home around 4am on January 1st – but was confronted by the homeowner – Hastings ran into a wooded area. Hastings was found by police on Thursday in Bridgeville and found in possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held in default of a cash only bond.
