Laurel HS Commencement Delayed Until Fri.

Members of the Class of ’21 at Laurel High School will have to wait at least one more day to get their diplomas. Because of the forecast of inclement weather, Thursday night’s ceremony has been postponed.

School officials said every effort is being made to hold graduation on the previously announced rain date, Friday at 6:30 p.m. If weather is still an issue, commencement would be held Saturday at 10 a.m.

Also, Thursday’s commencement at Sussex Tech High School will be moved indoors. Masks will be required.
