Kitchen Clash Leads To Man’s Arrest

A fight in a home’s kitchen has led to charges against a Milton man.

Delaware State Police said troopers were called about a situation on Mulberry Street Saturday night. An investigation determined that an argument escalated and that the man ‘aggressively displayed a kitchen knife’ toward a 14-year-old girl and a 47-year-old woman. A 12-year-old boy also intervened.

44-year-old Partor Rios Sanzhez allegedly took a beer and threw it at the girl, and ‘elbowed’ the woman before he left the scene.
Police said Sanchez left the home but came back, and was arrested without further incident.

Sanchez is charged with possession of a deadly weapon during a felony, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated menacing and offensive touching. Sanchez was being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $40,100 cash bond.
