Judge Tacks on 60 Years to Salisbury Man’s Prison Sentence

A Wicomico County judge has added an additional 60 years on to the already lengthy prison sentence for 25-year-old Arnell Bivens Jr. of Salisbury.
Bivens was already serving 18 years for drug distribution charges, however the new sentence stems from a 2017 incident that took place on Parker Road in Salisbury, where authorities say Bivens held three people at gunpoint. He was charged with three counts of assault in the first degree and three counts of possessing a firearm.
