Island to Island Half Marathon will Impact OC Traffic Saturday Morning

Expect traffic delays Saturday morning during the Island to Island Half Marathon and 5-K.  The race begins at Assateague Island at 7am and runners will finish in the Inlet parking lot.  Runners coming into Ocean City will travel east on Route 50 in the far right lane and cross the Harry Kelley Bridge – turning south on Philadelphia Avenue and then heading up South 1^st Street and across Baltimore Avenue to the Boardwalk.  Downtown traffic will be reduced to one lane and drivers should expect delays in the downtown area between 8and 10:30am.  The 5-K will not affect traffic.
