IRVFC Called after Roof Collapses During Renovations at Timber Acres

Emergency personnel from Indian River were called to a home on Timber Acres Circle for a structure collapse.  Officials say the occupants of the home were making interior structural renovations and remodeling when they removed a main structural support causing an interior collapse of the ceiling joints and rafters in some areas.  The damage was significant and the home has been condemned.  The Sussex County Tech Rescue Team was able to stabilize the home enough to allow the residents to remove their possessions.
