House Fire in Crisfield, Maryland; No Working Smoke Alarm

A fire that occurred in Crisfield has been ruled accidental. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the smoke alarms did not activate when the fire broke out at the two story wood frame single family house on Potomac Street yesterday evening. The blaze caused an estimated $100,000 in damage but no injuries or deaths. The origin of the fire was electrical service equipment.
