A Caroline County family was displaced after their home caught on fire Wednesday.

The blaze happened in the afternoon hours at a one-story home located at 25722 Old Mill Lane in Greensboro. The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office tells WGMD the fire occurred around 1 p.m. Damages are estimated at around 100,000 dollars to the structure, with 40,000 dollars in damage to the home’s contents.
