Hockessin Man Charged after Lewes Burglary

A Hockessin Man has been arrested for burglary and other charges after an incident in Lewes Monday morning. Delaware State Police were called to a home under construction on Carvel Road in Lewes just before 6am Monday. Investigation shows that the suspect, 39 year old Christopher Sarver, took an HVAC furnace from inside the garage. Sarver was arrested at his Hockessin home – the furnace has not been recovered at this time. Sarver is charged with:

  • 3rd degree burglary
  • theft – $1500 or more
  • selling stolen property

Sarver was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and is free on his own recognizance.
