UPDATED: Hebron Man Dead after Seaford Crash Monday Morning
UPDATED – 01/24/23 – 12:30pm – The Delaware State Police have identified the driver who died in a motor vehicle collision on January 23 at Route 13 near Lakeside Road south of in Seaford as 69 year old George Jefferson of Hebron, Maryland.

A two car crash in Seaford just after 7am has left a Hebron Maryland man dead. Delaware State Police say a Hyundai was northbound on Route 13 near the intersection of Lakeside Road and failed to stop for a school bus with it’s red lights and stop sign activated. A Cavalier was also stopped in the northbound left lane for the school bus. The 19 year old driver of the Hyundai, from Fruitland rear-ended the Cavalier. The driver of the Hyundai was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The 69 year old driver of the Cavalier was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Possible charges are pending. The school bus was not hit and no children were injured.
