Hartly Man Hospitalized after Bicycle Crash Near Dover

A Hartly man was hospitalized after his bicycle was struck on Forest Avenue in Dover Thursday night.  Delaware State Police say a PT Cruiser driven by a 56 year old Hartly woman struck the bicycle ejecting the rider to the roadway.  The driver did remain at the scene – she was not injured and impairment on her behalf is not a factor.  The bicycle rider was taken to Kent General Hospital with serious injuries – impairment for him is undetermined.  Police continue to investigate.
