Harrington Man Linked to July Burglary in Frederica

A Harrington man has been arrested for burglarizing a home in Frederica in late July. Delaware State Police arrested 27 year old Rykiem Shrieves of Harrington Thursday when police stopped to help him with his disabled car on Coastal Highway in Lewes. During the investigation, police learned that a safe was missing from the victim’s Jackson Street home on July 27th and that his window air conditioner had been disturbed. Evidence collected at the scene linked Shrieves to the burglary.
Shrieves was taken to Troop 7 and charged with the following crimes:
- Burglary Second Degree (Felony)
- Theft Over $1,500 (Felony)
Shrieves was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
