Harrington Man Faces Multiple Drug Charges After Trying to Run from Police

A Harrington man has been arrested on multiple drug offenses. Delaware State Police along with other agencies made a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Canterbury Shore Stop where they learned that 28 year old Russell Thomas was involved in the sale of heroin. Thomas tried to reverse his vehicle striking a trooper’s vehicle – then tried to run off on foot – tossing his jacket and several packages that contained cocaine, heroin and prescription pills. He is being held at Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a cash only bond.
