Gull Point Home & Garage Destroyed by Fire

Firefighters from Indian River were called to a structure fire on Gull Point Road just after noon on Sunday. The fire was reported to be a garage with possibly several children trapped. Arriving crews found heavy fire, but learned that everyone got out safely. Additional crews from Millsboro and Georgetown helped put out the fire and overhaul. Indian River Fire officials say both the garage and home are a total loss.聽 The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents and the State Fire Marshal is investigating.
