Greenwood man charged with 3rd DUI, damaging police car on New Years Eve
A Greenwood man was arrested on his 3rd DUI following a traffic stop where he damaged a patrol car in Felton.
According to the Felton Police Department, around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and made contact with 25-year-old William Case, who police say showed visible signs of impairment.
During the stop, Case reportedly became disorderly and refused to cooperate with officers’ demands.
Case allegedly resisted arrest and damaged a police cruiser as officers were taking him into custody.
A computer check revealed Case had two prior DUI convictions, making this one his third.
Case was charged with his 3rd DUI Offense, Resisting Arrest, Driving while Suspended or Revoked, Spinning Tires, Criminal Mischief under $1000 Damage Property, Failure to have Insurance Identification in Possession and Driving Vehicle at Unreasonable or Imprudent Speed. He was released on $100 unsecured bond.
