Gov John Carney to Tour Sussex County Agribusinesses Friday

On Friday Governor Carney will tour agribusinesses in Sussex County and meet with owners, operators and employees to underscore the importance of these businesses to Delaware鈥檚 economy and the state鈥檚 $8-billion agricultural industry. Governor Carney will be joined by Secretary of Agriculture Michael T. Scuse and Secretary of DNREC Shawn Garvin during the tour which will include Perdue AgriRecycle in Seaford and the Evans Farm in Bridgeville. Agriculture is the number one industry in the state.
