Gov. Hogan Announces Major Laptop Contribution To Eastern Shore Nonprofits
More than 200 laptops have been contributed to 11 local nonprofit organizations on the Maryland Eastern Shore.
Governor Larry Hogan made the announcement Wednesday in Crisfield before the J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake. The Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, Department of General Services and non-profit PC’s for People made the contribution possible.
“The donation of these laptops and this innovative partnership are helping us to fully address the digital divide for everyone all across our state,” Hogan said. ”It is another shining example that we aren’t just committed to fully recovering from the pandemic, but by working together, we are committed to coming back even stronger and better than ever before.”
50 mobile hotspots have also been donated.
