Gov Carney to Visit DE Tourist Destinations in Each County on Wednesday

Ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, Governor John Carney will Wednesday join the Delaware Tourism Office to visit destinations in all three counties. In Sussex County he’s ll stop at Lavender Fields in Milton around 9:30am and Fifer Orchards Farm Store in Camden-Wyoming around 11:30am. The Governor will stop for a round of mini golf at Tre Sorelle Dolce in Wyoming around 12:30 and then head to Mt Cuba Center in Hockessin in the mid afternoon – around 2:45.

Delaware welcomes more than 9 million visitors to the state annually. Tourism is a $4 billion industry in Delaware and supports approximately 47,000 jobs.
