Gov Carney to Announce Education Funding Monday Afternoon

Governor John Carney will be joined by members of the General Assembly, educators and advocates Monday afternoon at New Castle Elementary School to announce additional funding for low-income Delaware students and English learners, and additional mental health and reading supports for high-needs Delaware schools. The funding, which is included in the Fiscal Year 2020 budget, still must be approved by the full General Assembly.
