AAA Mid-Atlantic says after weeks of dramatic gas price increases across the Mid-Atlantic due to a refinery fire and other issues, there could be an uptick in the coming days and weeks as a result of Tropical Storm Barry.

The national average for a gallon of regular is 2.77, up two cents in the last week and up 5 cents in the last month, however down 11 cents from this time last year. Delaware’s average is 2.59 a gallon, down was one week ago and one year ago.
