Gas Prices Continue to Drop Ahead of the Holidays
December 15, 2019/
The national average for a gallon of gas is at $2.56 – down 2 cents in the past week. According to AAA-Mid-Atlantic, the price at the pump dropped 3 cents in Delaware to $2.31. The Energy Information Administration expects crude oil prices will be lower on average in 2020 than this year because of forecast rising global oil inventories – especially in the first half of the New Year. EIA also assumes OPEC will limit production through all of 2020 because of the forecast of rising oil inventories.
