Funeral For Delmar Cpl. Heacook Scheduled For Mon. In Salisbury

A funeral for Delmar Police Corporal Keith Heacook is scheduled for next Monday May 10th in Salisbury.

The full police detail funeral will take place at noon at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church on Beaglin Park Drive. A viewing will take place two hours prior. Burial will be private.

Heacook died in Baltimore Shock Trauma last week, days after being assaulted when he responded alone to a reported fight. The arrest of one suspect has been announced. He is expected to face upgraded charges of murder.

Sunday, Heacook’s body was escorted from Baltimore to Delmar as police, firefighters, other first responders and citizens lined Delmarva roadways to pay their respects.
