Fugitive Wanted for Dover Rape Arrested in South Carolina

A man wanted for the rape of a 6 year old girl in 2011 has been arrested in South Carolina. Dover Police have been looking for 34 year old Juan Hernandez since October of 2018 for the 2nd degree rape of a minor after the child spoke to a school therapist about the incident. The investigation led police issue a warrant for the arrest of Hernandez, who is not a legal resident of the US. Dover Police and the US Marshal’s First State Fugitive Task Force were contacted this week that Hernandez was arrested in Beaufort County – and is now awaiting extradition to Delaware.
