Fugitive Chase from Salisbury Ends at Unoccupied House near Blades

UPDATED: Suspects being pursued by Wicomico County Sheriff’s deputies after a shoplifting incident in Salisbury crossed into Delaware last night.  Delmar Police picked up the pursuit and Delaware State Police deployed stop sticks to disable the vehicle – which continued towards Blades with aviation following for about another mile.  Delaware State Police tell WGMD the driver lost control on Route 20, went off the roadway striking a fence and an unoccupied home.  Suspects – 24 year old Jaimere Wayman of Dover and 19 year old William Brown of Harrington – were still in the vehicle and arrested. Both are charged with being fugitives from another state and Wayman, the driver, with multiple traffic violations.  Possible stolen property from a Salisbury store was found in the vehicle.  The pursuit and shoplifting are being investigated by Wicomico County.  Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
