Frigid Weather Bursts Pipe at Milford Little League Concession Stand
February 5, 2019
Last week’s bitter below-freezing temperatures are to blame for a water pipe burst in Milford.
The water pipe burst in the ceiling at the Milford Little League’s concession stand, which sent over 100 thousand gallons of water into the building. The water heavily damaged the building, causing the ceiling to cave and creating damage throughout the stand. Officials estimate repairs at 20,000 dollars.
Milford Little League is urging for the community’s help in rebuilding the stand, which is a main source of income for the league. If you are interested in helping the league rebuild it’s concession stand a GoFundMe page has been set up here.
As of this posting they have raised 700 dollars, of the 20,000 needed.
