Freeman Highway Bridge Maintenance Planned This Week

The Freeman Highway Bridge in Lewes will undergo routine maintenance this week.
According to the Delaware River and Bay Authority, the bridge near the Cape May – Lewes Ferry terminal is scheduled to close Tuesday between 8:00 a.m. and noon. The bridge will be thoroughly cleaned, and storm drains will be flushed out.
If weather intervenes, the closure would be rescheduled for Wednesday, according to the DRBA.
