Four Arrested After Chase from Dover to Easton in Stolen Van
Four people have been arrested after a pursuit by Dover Police of a stolen van early Monday morning just before 2. Police spotted the stolen van moving northbound on South DuPont Highway near Lotus Street, but when they tried to stop the van – the driver sped off. Officers followed the van into Maryland. Delaware and Maryland State Police were called for assistance before the pursuit ended in Easton where the van pulled into a private driveway. The driver, 38 year old Joshua Collins, ran off into the woods and was arrested with help from a DSP K-9.
The other three occupants were arrested without incident and an 11-month old child was also found in the van. Collins and 32 year old Holly Ramsey were wanted by Delaware State Police for charges related to the 11 month old and the child was turned over to the Delaware Division of Family Services.
A small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was also found in the van. All four are being held in Maryland pending extradition to Delaware.
Upon returning to Delaware the individuals will be charged as follows:

- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- Resisting Arrest
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Multiple Traffic Offenses
