Foreign Trade Zone, Milford Shipyard, Ordinance Amendments before Sussex County Council Tuesday

The Sussex County Council will have a busy agenda Tuesday morning.  They will hear from Vice President of First State Manufacturing, Sher Valenzuela about the Milford Shipyard and then Economic Development Director Bill Pfaff will again discuss a foreign trade zone with the council.  Several proposed ordinance will be discussed and possibly introduced – including a determination by the Planning Commission as to permitted uses and changes to the comprehensive plan that were raised by the State in a letter in January.  The afternoon session will have three public hearings on two conditional use applications and a change of zone application.
