Flood Advisory in Effect Until Midnight

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Sussex County, Talbot County and Caroline County until Midnight.
A Flood Advisory means rivers or stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or imminent. Doppler radar indicates heavy rain due to thunderstorms, causing minor flooding across portions of the advisory areas.
Meteorologists say Easton, Georgetown, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Federalsburg, Selbyville, Bridgeville, Delmar, Trappe, St. Michaels, Dagsboro, Preston, Sharptown, Millville, Gumboro, Agner, Choptank, Windy Hill and Tanyard as well as surrounding communities are at the risk of experiencing isolated flooding.
