Southeastern Talbot County in eastern Maryland…
Southern Caroline County in eastern Maryland…

* Until 1030 AM EDT.

* At 654 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain has ended. However, two to four inches of rain fell across the area overnight and it will take time for all of the water to drain and recede. Several roads remain flooded across the area. Do not go around cones or barricades.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include… Georgetown, Milford, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Harrington, Lewes, Federalsburg, Milton, Bridgeville, Trappe, Dagsboro, Preston, Millville, Ellendale, Bowers, Henlopen Acres, Smithville, Gumboro and Cape Henlopen State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* WINDS…Northwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* TIMING…Through early this morning.

* IMPACTS…Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
