Flags Ordered to Half-Staff in Honor of Former President George HW Bush

Governors Larry Hogan and John Carney ordered the United States Flag, Maryland and Delaware State Flags lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset, Sunday, December 30, 2018. This action is in honor of former President George H. W. Bush who passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 (per federal law, the flag shall be flown at half-staff 30 days from the death of a former President).
