Five Arrested After Drug Investigation in Dagsboro
A two month investigation into illegal drug sales ended with the arrest of 5 people at a home on Swamp Road in Dagsboro. Members of the Governor’s Task Force and Sussex Drug Unit went into the home with a search warrant on Wednesday and seized over 135 grams of heroin in brick form, over 1600 bags of heroin bundled, powder and crack cocaine, marijuana, two fentanyl patches, a suboxone strip, drug paraphernalia, a bolt action shotgun and assorted ammunition and over $1200 in suspected drug proceeds. The five people arrested – from Dagsboro, Ocean View and Georgetown – face a variety of drug offenses.
The following suspects were apprehended at the residence without incident. They were transported back to Troop 4 and charged with the following:
- Antonio Satchell, 27 of Oceanview, DE-Possession With Intent To Deliver Tier 4 Heroin; Possession Tier 5 Heroin; Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $100,500.00 secured bond.
- Cornelies Briddell, 43 of Dagsboro, DE-Possession With Intent To Deliver Tier 4 Heroin; Possession Tier 5 Heroin; Conspiracy 2nd; and Possession of Cocaine. He was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $102,500.00 secured bond.
- Sean Johnson, 31 of Dagsboro, DE-Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited; Possession of Ammunition by Person Prohibited; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $2,250.00 secured bond.
- Sarah Norris, 37 of Georgetown, DE-Possession With Intent To Deliver Tier 4 Heroin; Possession Tier 5 Heroin; and Conspiracy 2nd. She was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $51,000.00 secured bond.
- Gregory Johnson, 59 of Dagsboro, DE-Maintaining a Drug Property. He was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on $2,500.00 unsecured bond.
