Fire Scorches Home In Cambridge, Md.

A fire left a single-family home in Cambridge with heavy damage Monday.
No one was injured in Monday evening’s fire along School House Lane, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The fire apparently began in a second-floor bedroom. Smoke alarms were present and activated.
Damage is estimated at $100,000 to the home and $75,000 to its contents. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
