Fire Near Seaford Under Investigation
November 27, 2023/
Fire damaged a residential structure in Seaford Monday afternoon. Seaford firefighters were called just after 1pm to Highland Drive in the Clearbrook Estates and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the home. Fire companies from Sussex County as well as Kent, Caroline, Wicomico and Dorchester Counties assisted or provided backup.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating to determine the cause and origin of the fire. The residence was not occupied at the time of the fire.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
