March 23, 2018
An early morning fire yesterday causes $5,000 of damages to the Polo outlet. Around 4:20 AM a fire erupted in the back room of the Polo Ralph Lauren store on Midway Outlet Drive.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal says the fire activated the sprinkler system in the store, which helped keep the fire under control until Rehoboth and Indian River fire companies responded to the scene, where Firefighters made quick work of the fire.
The damages are estimated to be $5,000; the fire marshal determined the fire started when a fluorescent light malfunctioned and ignited combustible materials nearby.
