Fire destroys home, displaces family in Frankford

A fire destroyed a home and displaced a family in Frankford.
Firefighters arrived in the 32000 block of Tranquility Lane in Hidden Meadows shortly after 1 p.m., Monday to find an active fire inside a house trailer, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Crews contained the fire which caused around $15,000 in damage, destroying the home.
The State Fire Marshal鈥檚 Office was called to investigate and determined that the fire originated inside a utility cabinet and was sparked by an electrical malfunction.
There were no injuries; however, three adults and one child were displaced. The American Red Cross is providing emergency assistance.
