Fire Crews Called for Travel Trailer Blaze near Rehoboth

Fire crews from Rehoboth Beach were called to the Port Delmarva Development off Old Landing Road just before 3pm for a travel trailer on fire on Henderson Drive. Fire crews from Indian River and Lewes were also called along with State Police and Sussex County Paramedics. Fire fighters say a Jayco-type travel trailer caught fire – with exposures to neighboring units, a vehicle and storage shed. Indian River officials report that two people were taken to nearby medical facilities for injuries.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
