Fire at Single Family Home in Carline County Under Investigation

A fire on Main Street in Hillsboro, Caroline County overnight caused an estimated $500,000 in damage, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office. The blaze originated in the Interior of Detached Garage, in which no smoke alarm was present. No deaths or injuries resulted from the fire.
