Felton Man Charged with Burglary in Greenwood

A Felton man has been arrested on burglary charges after a neighbor of the property spotted a man breaking into a garage.  Delaware State Police say the neighbor on St Johnstown Road in Greenwood called in the burglary in progress – troopers found 34 year old Jesse Nichols hiding in the garage.  Nichols stepfather lives at the residence, but Nichols has not lived there for 3 or 4 years.  Police later learned Nichols entered the property earlier this month and stole several items – including a jewelry box and a cooler – which were later recovered from his vehicle.  Nichols is charged with 2^nd and 3^rd degree burglary and felony theft.
